Industry Development Trend of All-in-One PCs: From Hardware Replacement to Scenario-Based Solutions

As hybrid work and remote collaboration have become the new normal, the role of all-in-one (AIO) PCs is undergoing profound changes. Traditional standalone display and computing devices can no longer meet users’ demands for efficient collaboration and intelligent interaction. Industry analysis reports indicate that future competition among AIO PCs will shift from a mere comparison of hardware parameters to comprehensive delivery capabilities centered on integrated hardware and software experience, ecosystem compatibility, as well as manageability and maintainability.

In terms of application scenarios, driven by the normalization of hybrid work, enterprises have strong demand for upgrading meeting spaces. Users require not only large-screen display, but also stable wireless screen projection, multi-party collaborative whiteboards, and deep compatibility with mainstream conference platforms. On the education side, the continuous popularization of digital classrooms and teaching resource platforms has raised higher requirements for eye-friendly display and efficient classroom interaction.

At the product and technical level, AIO PCs are evolving along three major development directions. First, display technology keeps upgrading, with high-resolution OLED screens and high-refresh-rate panels gaining increasing popularity. Second, AI capabilities are deeply integrated, ranging from local NPU computing power to AI agent applications featuring edge-cloud collaboration. Third, interaction methods are being innovated, with multi-modal interaction tools such as touchscreens, AI cameras and voice recognition gradually replacing traditional keyboard and mouse operations. It is foreseeable that future all-in-one PCs will no longer be simple computers, but intelligent collaboration platforms oriented to both work and daily life.
